SEPTEMBER UPDATE 15 September 2011 Following a successful training camp in China Paul Drinkhall travelled to Castell Goffreddoon Sunday 11th September, where his club Sterilgarda play. Paul trains twice a day from 9.00am until 1.00pm and 4.00pm until 7.00pm while he is there. Next up is a trip to the Austrian Open on the 20th September. The draw and additional information will be on the ittf website. After the tournament Paul will return to Italy to train prior to Stereilgardas first match on 30th September against Fortitudo Bologna tse group. On 1st October he flies back to Leeds to play the Newcastle Grand Prix which begins on the 2nd October at the Eldon Square leisure centre. Paul will also attend a training camp in Sheffield prior to The Europeans in Gdansk which take place from 7th to 16th October. Info and results will be on the ittf and ettu websites as well as right here. England have been drawn in a group alongside Russia, Belarus and Hungary. After the Europeans, Paul is playing the Swedish Open from the 19th until 23rd October. We will update you when the draws have been made. The Pro Tour finals are held in November which as is the London Olympic Test event at the Excel Arena which runs from 24th to 27th. Paul has been selected to play the singles, and there is also a team event match which he is also competing in. This will be held on 25th November.
