SUZHOU OPEN UPDATE 18 August 2010 Paul Drinkhall won his group today when he beat Chan Yook Fo Brian Erskin and Stefan Fegerl. Paul defeated Chan Yook Fo Brian Erskin (MRI) 4-0 (11-5, 11-6, 11-5, 11-4) before defeating Stefan Fegerl (AUT) 4-2 (3-11, 11-4, 7-11, 12-10, 11-8, 11-5) Paul is now in the last 64 of the competition which starts at 3.30pm (8.30am GMT). The draw hasn't yet been made so he is still unsre who he will face in the next round. The doubles starts at noon (5.00am UK) and Paul's and partner, Darius Knight's, opponents are the Japanese pair, Chan Kazuhiro and Kan Yo. |
