PAUL DRINKHALL JUNE 2010 UPDATE
22 June 2010
Paul Drinkhall has been training in Sheffield following the disappointing World Championships campaign in Moscow.
The England men unfortunately did not get the results they would have liked and Paul felt that he'd not played anywhere near the standard he expects of himself.
Paul's next main aim is the European Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic in September (11th-19th) and then hopefully he will participate in the Commonwealth Games in India which take place in October.
Over the past few weeks Paul has been spending time with his dad who celebrated his 50th
birthday. He also attended a friend's wedding which is quite a rarity as he is not usually able to
attend due to training and tournaments.
Congratulations to Shaun and Kelly and thanks for letting us share your day.
In other news, Paul is playing for newly promoted Nodo in Belgium next season and is relishing the prospect of linking up with his new team and hopes to help them reach their goals.
Paul's brother, Bryn, and friend Craig Bryant - both former england team members - played for Nodo last season.
