2010 WORLD TEAM TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS UPDATE 24 May 2010 The first matches of the World Championships in Moscow were played yesterday. England's first match was against Luxembourg and they ran out 3-1 winners. Paul Drinkahll beat Giles Michely 3-1 before defeating Traian Ciociu 3-0, who had earlier beaten Andrew Baggley. Elsewhere Liam Pitchford beat Mike Bast. England take on Slovenia today at 19.30 local time (16.30 GMT). Tomorrow they face Thailand at 13.00 (10.00 GMT).
