WOLVERHAMPTON GRAND PRIX THIS WEEKEND
12 May 2010
Paul Drinkhall will be playing in the The Wolverhampton Grand Prix this weekend.
It has been a long time since Paul has played a domestic tournament apart from the 'nationals'.
His first match is at 11am on Sunday 16th May. Paul is part of a four-man group of players including Gerry Campbell (SCO), Matt Spero (E) and Chris Hodges (Y).
It is a very strong tournament with 124 players competing in the main mens singles tournament. This competition includes other international players such as No.2 seed Daniel Zwickl (Hungary), No.3 seed Gavin Rumgay (Scotland), and No.4 seed Ryan Jenkins (Wales).
There should be a lot of good competition involved so anyone in the Wolverhampton area that is interested should come down to the Aldersley Leisure Centre to see some top table tennis.
Next week Paul flies to Russia for the World Team Championships. Keep checking back here for further information on that tournament.
