DRINKHALL INVITED TO PRO-TOUR GRAND FINALS 7 Dec 2009 Paul Drinkhall received some brilliant news when he was invited to compete in the Pro-Tour Grand Finals Under 21s tournament. The prestigious tournament will be held in Macau in January 2010. The competition involves the top eight players who have gained the most points from Pro-Tours in 2009 and have played in at least four tournaments on two different continents. The players invited to the Under 21 tournament are: Ruwen Filus (GER) Ma Liang (SIN) Steffan Mengel (GER) Abdel-Kader Salifou (FRA) Ovidu Ionescu (ROU) PAUL DRINKHALL (ENG) Sang Eun Jeong (KOR) Young Sik Jung (KOR) This is a a great achievement for Paul and unexpected in his first senior year. He has been working really hard over the year and this is the icing on he cake for a great year. He would like to thank all of the England team staff as without them it would not have been possible to produce the results he has. Thanks to everyone who has contributed. Paul's upcoming fixtures ahead of the new year include two Bundesliga matches against Saarbrucken at 7.30pm on 7th December and Borussia Dusseldorf at 4.30pm On 13th December. Paul was training in Germany last week ahead of the matches. |
