RESULTS FROM POLAND - PART I 26 Nov 2009 Paul played the final group match on Thusday against Anastasios Riniotis (GRE) and won 4-2. The victory put Paul through to 1st qualifying round where he met Cai Xiao Li (SIN). A 4-3 win means that he has made it through to the last 64 of the main draw. Today Paul will play the world no. 12 Oh Sang Eun (KOR). Paul and doubles partner Darius Knight recieved a walk over against Morten Rasmussen(DEN) & Kilomo Vitta(BEL) but lost in the next round to the host country's Chojnowski & Fertikowski. The under 21 event starts on Friday where Paul will take on against Frantisek Placek (CZE). |
